2020 Benefit Payment Schedule Retirees and Pensioners of the National Social Security Institute (INSS) can now check and schedule the 2020 payment date, according to the new payment table. The benefit payment schedule, that is, the schedule, will follow the same logic followed until today, which takes into account the final benefit number. In addition, those beneficiaries who earn up to the minimum wage have the money credited earlier, always at the beginning of the month. Those who receive above this amount always receive from the beginning of the following month.

What is the date of payment of the INSS benefit?

Check below the dates and the 2020 benefit payment table, month by month, according to the payment limit and final benefit number:

Even people who have the benefits granted in December of this year will receive on those dates. The only difference is that, depending on the start date, payment will be for the proportional period.

Thus, those who have their retirement or pension approved in March 2021, for example, will only start receiving in April, that is, the following month. It is worth remembering that INSS payments are not retroactive, starting to count, therefore, from the date of granting the benefit.

The payment for the month of December will also follow the date that is defined in the INSS payment table. The rules are the same and valid for anyone who earns up to a salary or above this amount.

Payment of INSS 2020 Benefits - up to 01 minimum wage Insured persons who receive up to one minimum wage begin to receive at the end of January 2020. Payments will be made between January 27th and February 7, always on business days and within business hours. Payment of INSS 2020 Benefits - above 01 minimum wage Retirees and Pensioners who earn above the national minimum will start to receive it as of February 3, 2020. The last payment, therefore, will occur in January 2021. amounts are credited to accounts within bank hours and are available for use or withdrawal, usually from the next day onwards. Payment of the 13th salary The payment of the 13th INSS salary will start in April of this year. The measure was adopted by the Ministry of Economy, to benefit insured people in the face of the new Coronavirus pandemic.

The 1st installment for those who earn up to the minimum wage will start to be paid on April 24th – the same date as the regular payment.

Those who receive above the ceiling will be paid from May 4th.

The second installment will be transferred from May 25th and June 1st, according to each final benefit number and salary range.

As the dates of the benefit payment calendar are updated from one year to the other, they already consider the readjustment of the minimum wage, which also takes place annually. Unlike previous years, beneficiaries who receive more than one minimum wage will have the same rate of adjustment as the minimum wage. The change in calculation is part of the set of updates proposed by the new Government.
