Banco BS2 (BANCO BONSUCESSO) is a financial institution headquartered in Belo Horizonte. The institution's market includes card operations, digital checking accounts, investments, foreign exchange, and asset management, credit, prepayment of receivables, working capital and collection and payment solutions for individuals and companies.

History
The history of Banco BS2, also known as Bonsucesso, in the Brazilian banking market is related to the foundation of Banco de Minas Gerais (predecessor of the current Banco BMG), originated by the Pentagna Guimarães family in 1930. In 1973, after selling the institution for Banco Real, the founders decided to invest in what has become one of the largest car retail chains in Brazil.

To support this vehicle sales niche and with the aim of being a company with a widely known brand in the market, "Bonsucesso Financeira" was born in 1992, the result of the vision of its main executive, Paulo Henrique Guimarães. Bonsucesso Financeira was converted, just five years later, in 1997, into a multiple bank, with private capital.

In 2019, Banco BS2 started to sponsor Flamengo, in a contract revolving around 15 million reais per year, plus participations in the opening of new accounts, thus becoming the master sponsorship of rubro-negro. After speculation that the Rio de Janeiro club was negotiating with Amazon to be the new master sponsor, but ended up settling with BRB), Banco BS2 decided to terminate the contract on June 30, 2020.
